Pregame

I have been going to games consistently since the early 90's, and couldn't tell you what any of the pregame activities are or have been. Even when I'm in my seats, I never paid any attention to them, other than maybe Monte riding out of the tunnel, the crowd and NEZ booing the opposing team, and then the national anthem and team stuff. I couldn't tell you one song. Even during games, I don't pay attention to the songs. I look at the funny stuff on the video sometime. I suppose I'm too focused on calling and texting in plays and advice to the coaches and team.

Thats why I sit where I do, right behind the griz bench. Almost exactly across from the tunnel, 2 rows up. I can immediately get Bobby's attention, get my recommendations and play calls in and strategy on personnel decisions. No time for caring about anything going on around me!!!

They did listen to me and move the oline group gathering spot to directly in front of me, so can get my coaching points to them easily and efficiently. Look for tremendous improvement in oline adjustments and overall attitude and performance. BOOM!

First off, I absolutely can’t wait to get back in the stadium. Couldn’t be more excited for this team to hit the field.
But if I have to listen to the same old, tired, Monte pregame intro with him rodeoing to kid rock, I may riot. The crowd was half asleep for it last year, would love to see them get the crowd back into the pregame. I really hope this isn’t the best we can get out of a performing arts school.
Solution: don’t go in the stadium until kickoff. Don’t have to worry about pregame

My only concern is that they overcorrect and we end up with GenZ Monte doing a TikTok dance while prompting each end of the stadium to yell "SKIBIDI!" "RIZZ!", then launching Labubus out of a cannon into the crowd while an incomprehensible sigilkore song blares from the speakers.

If you didn't understand a lot of those words, consider yourself blessed. In some ways I do kinda appreciate how the game day experience is a time capsule of the 00s.
Ya know, I see a lot of people complain about that, but if anyone has ever seen Pauly Shore in “Son in Law”… this is not a new phenomena 😂 every generation has their own

I wish the team would enter the stadium with Brother Oborne song, "It Ain't my Fault.!" This Bring em Out is crap and has been since it started. When they used to play Welcome to the Jungle, it always pumped up the team and crowd!

Any list without “Casino Royale” by my man Herb Alpert and the TJ Brass should be immediately discredited and ultimately ridiculed. And, yes, I mean any list.

Oh even better yet, why even deal with parking? Just stay home. No parking fees, no dealing with people. Let the team run out to a cold empty stadium! We could be the next eastern Washington! 🙄
Speaking hypothetically, maybe, just maybe some people like a game day experience that includes the pregame hype, not just maximizing drinking time. It’s a lot of fun when that stadium is filled and roaring

Back in Black for the Blackout Game and then Enter Sandman for the rest. That would be epic and iconic!
Back in black would certainly fit the theme of the black out.

I love VT’s entrance and it may be the best entrance in college football, but it’s a Hokie thing and not a Griz thing. Identity matters and having something that is unique and your own is valuable. If they were to shift things it better have creativity and imagination that sets us apart and not make us a cheap knockoff/copycat.

I don't believe that we should be LIKE Iowa and LIKE VA Tech and run out on the field LIKE someone else.

These are the popular lists back to the 70's in the case of Back in Black and I love me some AC/DC, but this doesn't work.

Set it apart and be MONTANA to find a way that we can enter into the Mecca of FCS Football that sets the team apart.

I'm not sure what that is, but it isn't to copy what someone else already does because that is the identity of another program.

Be yourself, everyone else is already taken!

Couldn’t agree more!

Go Griz — Fight On!

I always thought fallout boy's "Light 'em up" would be sick to play for night games after the team runs out leading to kicking off the game.
