Okay, is there an extra emphasis on the throwback copper and gold colors for this season?

Are the Griz doing some additional throwback jerseys, maybe more so than before? Maybe across all their sports?

I have a connection at an out-of-state shirt manufacture and screen printer. She said they have been sending a ton of cooper and gold Griz apparel out.

There have been lots of mailings and GSA events where they've been embracing the throwback colors for the 30 year anniversary. I also haven't heard anything about throwback colors this year but there have been surprises in the past. I guess time will tell.

I would like to know what kind of apparel.

Maybe I was being lied to but I was told that no, there are no plans for jerseys this year in that color format - too expensive.

It wouldn't actually be the first time they pulled a slight of hand and ran out of tunnel in Copper with Gold helmets. When they did that at Griz-Cat I was watching on TV and the volume was as high as ever and stayed with the crowd for most, if not all of the game. People that I know that were at that game said that won the game.
That was pretty early in Bobby's first term too.
I get the cost thing though, but when is the actual reunion? 11/8 on hall of fame weekend?

I believe this.

As the certified uniform guru on this board, we're very likely getting new ones this year that we will wear for the next 3-4 seasons.

They switched to wearing the shoulder stripe game jerseys at spring practice, which is kind of a dead giveaway.

This means that if they wanted to do an all-season copper and gold uniform, with the replacements, extras, etc. they'd need to do that, it would also mean we'd likely need to wear them for the following 2-3 seasons, as well.

I don't see them doing that for a one-off season. Maybe they'll surprise us and get some like the blackouts they've had for the last several seasons, but I can't see them buying those and a full new set of maroon and silver jerseys in the same offseason.
 
I received my 2025 QB Club jacket in the mail today. They hit this one out of the park. It's a bright white Nike hoodie/windbreaker with the QBC logo on the chest and a 30-year Anniversary logo on the left sleeve; both logos in the Old Griz colorways.
 
Is it possible they may play a whole season with them? I know my conspiracy theory brain gets a little over active sometimes but I feel like this is a possibility. I wouldn’t mind one season but I wouldn’t want it to stick.

The game you are thinking of was in 2007. That was more towards the end of his first term than it was early.

I'm at that age I guess where all the years run together, but it would have had to be 08 because 07 was in Bozeman, which makes sense because up until around 2006 most of those games I was home on leave but at hunting camp and listening to the games on the radio and I do remember watching this on television. The video I posted below I had on the bubble thread too, Nick Tabor touring the new equipment room. They said no new jerseys this year and they were kind of evasive on the subject of alternate helmets or color schemes for this year, although they played a joke on one of the students staff (if you buy the excuse for the copper jersey sitting on the desk) saying they had wrapped it in plastic and everything to make them think it was new but it was not.
