Woah that's crazy. Probably gonna be tough to find an outside replacement this late in the offseason. Perhaps Phen will coach WR's/TE's and then maybe we can promote that GA to like Assistant OL or something like that. Hope everything's ok. That's odd timing, and he was very enthusiastic about the team at the QB Club Tourney last month.

I heard a couple weeks ago that this was a possibility. Sounds like he wants to be more involved with his kids every day activities.
If that's the case then good for him. And if he informed Bobby a couple of weeks ago then I'm sure that probably bought him some time to figure out a plan for the season.
Another possibility but maybe whoever was hired as the O Analyst (have no idea who that is) is promoted to WR coach and then all we need to do is hire another analyst which isn't as hard.

This dude is probably too far out of Hauck's sphere, but if I was looking for a former wide receiver with a proven college football record and a few years of experience being coached in the NFL, I'd call Jimmy Farris. He'd be on my list even if he wasn't a Griz.

Ran into coach at a gas station in big timber of all places when he was on the road recruiting. He talked to me for 5 mins or so. Seemed like a great dude who loves the Griz. Wish him well.

Timing of Coach Erickson's departure right before camp opens not optimal. Good luck to him !!!
Would love to see Robin return to Missoula--he and Jim are profiles in courage and their assessment of Jordy being innocent was correct. They were both thrown under the bus by Engstrom !!!
And if not Robin, Aaron would be a good get as well--I think he was born in Missoula and grew up for a few years in Missoula, and he knows all about Da GRIZ !!!
