Projected returning starters for the 2025 Griz

Crazy concept. Of course he wants to win games. He just can’t get of his own damn way apparently. His QB carousel worked one year, but it took him four games to blindly stumble into the answer. Last year. Not so much.
How did Hauck "blindly stumble" in the answer, meaning how was it blindly and a stumble?

And what is your specific analysis or criticism of how the coaches handled QB's last season?

The QB’s name was cliff. Took way too long to figure out he was the guy. My criticism of last year will be the same as many others. Once again, QB by committee and one of them had a personality conflict with Hauck.

Cliff developed as a QB as the season went. Early in the season he did not progress through reads. It was really fun to watch from the stands and see his progression to what he became.

How is Cliff not back on the roster right now? Doesn’t he have an extra year and isn’t he currently unsigned?

Cliff THINKS he has a year left but I don't know if he actually does
You know more about this than me, but didn't he automatically get an extra year for being a JUCO player? I thought they had all gotten one more, regardless of status, but I'm really not educated on that.

2 years at Louisiana
1 year JuCo at Kilgore
1 year at UCA
1 year at Montana
1 year at McNeese

Came to Montana as a Grad Transfer with 2 years to play, granted by NCAA

Applied for medical RS after the year at McNeese which I thought I saw was denied (but I'll admit I can't find rapid info on)

Has RT'd some appeal info from another player who challenged the JuCo rule but has said or updated nothing as to his own situation since.

I don't agree that it took way too long to figure out that Cliff was the guy. What is your criticism of last year. Do you know what was going on in the locker room, with the coaches, and on the field? Just curious.

Thank you, in my mind I had vastly oversimplified that ruling to "if you played JUCO during XX years you can play another year."

I just really want to listen to Mike's reaction on the GFP if they bring Cliff back.

According to Keelan in his GFP interview, Cliff didn’t do a great job of learning the plays. That’s gonna keep most QB’s out of a starting job. Luckily for Cliff, he has amazing tangibles to keep a play going until someone got open. Keelan said many times Cliff wouldn’t even run the play that was called and just draw something up. If the team didn’t seem to take a shit on Vidlak vs NAU, we might not have seen Cliff much at all.
