MBBALL Mike Bibby New Sac St Coach

That’s a trash hire. He’s only ever coached high school. The only reason they hired him is cause Sac State’s egotistical maniac president has to act like they’re a lot flashier and prestigious than they actually are. Guys so desperate to get them FBS he’s willing to go independent and bankrupt the school while they’re already $50 million in budget cuts.

Can’t wait to see their new student rec center basketball “arena” they’re playing in next year lol. That’ll be quite the FBS level facility.

He was a great player. That era of Kings are kinda legends in Sac. Kings made huge mistake of having Divac as GM. Set them back a few years.
 
It's a splash hire. It has worked for some in football (Jackson State, Tennessee State)

He'll get looks from recruits that otherwise would ignore Sac State.

On the flip side there was Bob Huggins at West Virginia, Roy Williams at North Carolina, and currently Penny Hardaway at Memphis just to name a few that had pretty good results at their schools..

May sell tickets for a year, may bring NIL for a year, but I'm not sure it will bring in any new talent you haven't already got. This was a complete look at us hire. Your prez is kind of nuts.
