Not sure if anyone saw these.

Interesting link to other recruiting rankings as well.

16 SDSU players to Washington State.

17 Idaho players to FBS. 6 to New Mexico.

6 Dartmouth players to FBS. I think they are probably all guys who have graduated and can't play anymore in the Ivies by rule. You can't play after graduation in the Ivies.

What was the point of that?

I clicked thinking I would see the ranking and some sort of explanation on why they got the ranking they did. Sam kind of forgot the explanation, which without that the whole thing is kind of pointless.

Is it this year they Ivies can play in the playoffs? What do you see happening there since you pay more attention to them than the rest of us. Are we going to see a team make some noise or play a first round game and that's it?

Like Patriot league teams. Not noise very often. Mostly 1 team in playoffs. Ivies have 10 game schedule. Ivies beat each other up and upset top Ivy teams. Ivy non/conf schedule used to be tougher. Some beat UNH and Holy Cross in some years, and Maine more often.

My feeling is his FCS recruiting/transfer class rankings have about as much validity as preseason polls: some, but not too much. And like Alabama said, since he hates Da GRIZ--and his print I have read indicates he is not impressed with us.-- I am not losing any sleep over Herder's ratings and, furthermore, I hope we are not at the top of the conference and national preseason rankings either so that we can sneak up on some folks.

Last year we were Number 1 in the preseason Big Sky and # 3 in the national and look what it got us. My feelings won't be hurt at all if Sac State, for example, is # 1 preseason Big Sky and towards the top of the national polls, ahead of us in both !!!

My view is that Herder's recruiting analysis has less validity than a preseason poll. Other people, some knowledgeable, vote on preseason polls.

Im pretty sure the Griz got 3 of the top 15 recruits in Washington, and we had some other very good gets. If that doesn’t land you in the top 10, I don’t know what will.
Agreed. It’s really why I put this here. No idea WTF he’s doing. I love recruiting though so like to look at “rankings” anyway.

Oh stop with the hyperbole.
