I also like this oneIn what ways is the University able and/or not able to work with the NIL Collective?
We often talk about how individual sports are judged, but how is the AD or Athletic Department evaluated when being reviewed with University leadership? How are metrics weighted like on-field success, financial health/fan engagement, or academics?
Thanks for taking questions!
They only accepted UC Davis because they didn't have to accept them for football. I would guess that is a nonstarter for UM and pretty much an agreement that means very little to them.I wouldn’t get the following d/t current conference agreements, and the politics.
I want to hear directly from Kent (his NON-PC answer though) thoughts on conference realignment this last year out west and what actions were and weren’t taken by the AD’s office. Specifically what was reported to have taken place behind closed doors with the Mountain West, Dakota States and Montana schools? His tone changed mightily over the fall and there was clearly frustration on Kent’s part. UC Davis’s current agreement couldn’t have helped.
