2025 gogriz Roster Notable Missing Players

I was looking at the roster on gogriz.com for 2025 and noticed some omissions from the roster:

S-Gabe Longin-RSR
RB-Beau Dantic-RJR
OL-Declan McCabe-RSR
OL-Journey Grimsrud-RSR
WR-Drew Klumph-RJR
DL-Dylan Smith-RJR
DL-Henry Nuce-RSR
WR-Brady Lange-RSR

Anyone know if these players are still with the team? The loss of Grimsrud and McCabe would not be ideal for our o-line as the loss of Nuce would be awful for our defense.

I had heard that Nuce was going to hang it up back in like October. As for Journey, there were rumblings about him maybe being done towards the end of the season. Really didn't hear anything concrete about him though.
 
Every time I try to find reasons for optimism next year, somebody else is going out the door. I like some of the younger guys in the program but are they ready to start and play significant minutes? Looks like we’re gonna have to bring in another transfer class in the spring.

On the bright side, Drew, Gabe, Beau, and Dylan played very minimal snaps. I am still feeling optimistic about the skills position groups but we will need to bring in a few more transfers for o-line and d-line depth which I am concerned about

I was told by a player last night that some of these younger guys on the OL are dawgs and could be better players than the guys last year when it’s all said and done! And I know the staff really likes Lucas Freitas. I could see him starting.

Oh man, not sure how I missed him. I will add him. Hoping this list doesn't grow. It is part of the process. I think we are going to see some adds this summer. Although, I counted 76 rostered players, 17 HS signings, and 17 Portal signings which brings the roster total to 106. If the 105 rostered player limit that we are expecting is accurate does that mean we lose one more player? I would also imagine that since we had/have some offers on the table, we still have scholarships available for this spring/summer when the portal reopens and teams make their final adjustments for next season.
 
Hoops is a key missing player on EGRIZ. He will not be easily replaced. The key will be to keep him on the bench as long as possible.
