Well……I can’t even come up with an adjective to describe that. Outscored 50-18 in the second half. Never seen anything like it. It looked like the second half of last seasons Big Sky championship, except worse. We must’ve taken the game plan from the first half and just thrown it in the trash can at halftime cause that was bad from the opening 15 seconds of the 2nd half. I know they’re a really good rebounding team but that wasn’t a problem for us in the first half. So what changed? Props to ISU for burying us. Great job Coach Looney!
Well there is good news believe it or not. Our next 4 games are all at home while a lot of the other top teams are hitting the road next week. I’m not saying we will but if we were to go 4-0 at home, then we’re back in a comfortable spot at 8-2 before our next road trip. Road sweeps are hard to get. Let’s go home and re-group and get ready for the stretch run. It’s a quick a turnaround and it’ll be hard to flush but we got an Idaho team coming to town on Monday that we beat just a couple weeks ago. The guys gotta come out locked in and angry and ready to play. We’ll see how they respond but man was tonight ugly.
