If Coach Holsinger is history temporarily or permanently, I hope that Asst. Coach Woolley is named interim LG HC. He's not only been a head coach, but led Western to a NAIA National Championship and I believe that NC was played right here in Billings when Billings hosted the NAIA National tournament 6-7 years ago.

I've watch bits and pieces of every game this year. I was reasonably excited early on in the season on how they competed against bigger schools. They looked a lot more competitive and I thought this might be the year they turned the corner and been top tier team. That isn't the case.

Last weekend was a clear step backward. I didn't post it for the feel of being way too negative. They were as it was mentioned elsewhere, disjointed and confused against NC after getting a pretty total beatdown by NAU on Thursday. Listless was the word that I was going to use in regards to their performance both days.

If the rumors are true, then it makes a bit sense that last weekend was a total loss.

Harris is more than capable of managing the team in the interim and he'll get a ton of help from Wooley. Being at home is going to help, and we might not see anything substantive this weekend. They might be emotionally/physically spent, but I doubt we'll see anything but the staff's and players best efforts.

Hate to see controversy or whatever this turns out to be happen to any program. I am optimistic about what Harris/Woolley might be able to turn this team into. Would love to see Woolley get a chance at leading the program.
