Trying to connect dots… there is a player from Missoula now playing for the cats who spent 2 years on his mission before breaking his commitment with BYU. Am I warm?

I went to a Cat/Lumberjack BASKETBALL game in the early ‘90’s in Flagstaff and the 30-40 ‘Scat fans in attendance started the chant. I was dumbfounded. I’ve since learned, obviously, that the lil bro syndrome is SO deeply ingrained in their psyche that they literally can’t help themselves. It’s like a dopamine hit and they are powerless to stop it.

Sad, really.

In the state of Montana if the Griz didn’t exist, I’d be a Tech fan before I’d be a ‘Scat fan.

Some people seem to think social media gives them license to say and do anything they want. Crazy times.
 
The sequel will be in the works soon, titled: Cat Turd Day: literally who makes their Game day rallying cry CaTurDay?! There is not one college football team in the nation that has anything to do with a cat that would even imagine doing this. It must've been imagined during the jeff choate era, in which a 5-6 season was magical so long as they beat the griz. Cat Turd Day!

OK I went to the roster and obviously wasn't paying attention to the twitters since I don't have that, but may have figured out who it was based on remembering a commitment to BYU. Still...if someone wanted to fill this D.R. in on the details of said twitters...I do check my PM box hahaha

I for one like that they do it. It solidifies the Beta status they hold. Only when they stop focusing on the Griz 24/7 will they truly be out from under our shadow.

The dad and his oldest son tweeted directly to kekoa visperas's griz offer announcement he posted on X. Disparaging the griz the coaching staff and more. The son chimed it. I went back to look if I could find and it's been deleted (wish I would've screen shot it) there as another random cats troll saying stuff as well. It was tacky and strange, but on definitely on brand!

Hard to believe that wouldn't be considered tampering. I'd bet an awful lot that that parent meets the criteria of "booster." Not very LDS of them, but whatever. Just another reason to look forward to having them come back to Missoula next year.
