Griz QBs Would Mellot Crack the Top 8 Alltime?

No reasonable Cat or Griz fan would argue with the top three. But the last 5 are quite the stretch. Either way, as a Cat fan, I readily concede that you have had some baller quarterbacks over your years of dominance, particularly in the 1994-2009 era. I don’t diminish them, or their accomplishments, at all.

I think it is time for you to get over the intense butt hurt you must still be enduring due to Bobby not wanting Tommy to play for your team. It’s too bad. Tommy would have been an all time great for your team as well. In fact, I think Tommy would have made the difference in several games you should have won this year. It isn’t Tommy’s fault, nor the fault of Cat fans, that Bobby is too arrogant a prick to recognize and develop talent like Tommy. We are happy to have him. God bless.
 
Dave could sling the ball around with amazing accuracy, something TM can't do.
But Tommy runs a 4 3-4.4 40, and Dave on a good day could maybe break 5 seconds--barely !!! Dave's main weapon was his arm, TM's main weapon, his legs, with both of them sharing a keen intellect, great football brains !!!

In short, TM is one of the greatest QB's from Montana, though if he plays in the NFL, it's probably not as a QB but as a KR, PR on special teams and as a slot receiver. 8 ( And skeptics please note that DD has made arrangements to sign TM to his Calgary Stampeders should TM wind up in the CFL--Dave obviously likes Tommy's play and thinks TM could really help Calgary win more games in The CFL !!! )

And let’s be honest - if Tommy played for the Griz, you guys would be widely and rightfully elated and proud of a Butte kid as your QB. Cat fans would be jealous, and your “by how Bobby feels” QB rotation would have never existed.

I see that you didn’t list Cliff McDowell in your top 8. It’s strange because he took you to the NC last year. If all you care about are stats, then Cliff isn’t your guy. If you care about winning, then he would be. Sorry for your loss bro.

Tommy would do great in the CFL, although I haven’t watched much of it in recent years, however, with the wider field and his speed, I think he’d fair well in that league. NFL, his best bet is a gadget style player, and a coach willing to see what he can do. Personally, I think it would be pretty cool to have him play under DD.
 
Prior to this season Tommy would have been #9…..regardless what happens in Frisco after this year Tommy would be top 3. The dude single handidly wins every game for the Bobcats this year.

What a stupid comment, did Santa just bring you a computer? Being a winning QB and being a good QB are about as related as surviving the Somme and catching a bullet in the head on the first charge. Trent Dilfer and Rob Johnson both won Superbowls and neither one could have started for Carroll College in their university days. You think Edwards was better than Ah Yat, Miller, Mornhinweg, Ochs, Johnson, or Bennett?

Those of us who actually support the Griz have to read the detritus that you spew almost all year, can you give us one present and ignore your proctologist's advice, leave your head up your ass and shut up for a moment.

Talk about a stupid human. You think because you post on a message board you support the Griz. I give more money to grizzly athletics each month then you have in your entire life. It’s because of people like me that the new indoor practice facility was built. Crawl back into your basement and finish working on your crosswords.
