Mellott had a great game and was the difference, but he was only 8-17 passing.

Yup. Bad no call. Cats played well. Especially Mellott. The 2 Cat backs 18-66 and 11-35. Mellott 17-125. The bad snaps by the center. Some untimely penalties.

Yes I agree the bobcat defensive line was getting held every play. I watched O'Reilly get pulled down from the collar several times.
We stormed the field last year, let them have it lol
So now tell us what to think PR. Did the cats just get lucky? Have they still not played anyone? Are they going to now get destroyed when they play a real team? What's going on here?
This is literally the one game besides winning the championship where it’s universally acceptable to storm the field lol

no calls all game, both games. on Grebe sack, #10 held the OT jersey and pulled him away from grebe to allow him to go past. OT pleading with the ref who just looked away...
Can’t answer for Hoops, and I only watched the beginning of the 3Q of the Bobgame. Followed along by reading here. I’ll just say I thought the score would be much more lopsided.

Cats played well, after first part of game, and Mellott had a great game and was the difference maker. I don't know how good USD is. I hadn't seen them play or followed them at all this year. Cats made the plays and SD didn't. As I said, the 2 bad center snaps and a few untimely penalties really hurt SD. The stats weren't all that lopsided, except for number of plays, TOP and 3d down conversions. Those are important things. SD averaged more per run, per pass, and obviously per play. Cats took control after first part of game and pretty much stayed in control. The bad center snaps killed any chance of a SD comeback. Too bad the vote for Payton award already occurred. Mellott was the best qb who played today and deserves the award.

Got it. Interesting. I guess I really didn’t pay close attention to either team this season. Could be a good one brewing between Texas and Clemson. 31-24 in 4Q. Would be the first road win in the CFP if Clemson pulls it off.
