Well that was interesting

The only player really showing fire and he and Bobby just had a verbal row after that drive. Clearly Bobby wants to keep control of the team, but that was a bad look. Logan shrugged him off twice and they continued to go at it until Justin Green had to get in between and push Fife back to the bench. They just hugged it out, but man if that doesn’t define the season.

Now that I’m home, I just didn’t know if the television caught or showed any of that altercation in the moment. It totally could have been avoided if Bobby keeps a cool head and talks to him on the sideline like he has other players the rest of the year, but going out on the edge of the field and pointing and showing him up in front of the whole stadium was unnecessary and created the whole situation. He’s our best chance to win this year and could have been the first 2 year starter we’ve had since Sneed. Instead I see no way he stays after this.

I usually am perfectly okay with QBs and other players earning the starting job every year but with how Bobby and Co. have mismanaged this QB situation this season that needs to change. In this instance Fife should be the starter for the rest of this year and next year until he loses it, he's earned that much IMO.

They have created a situation where if they come to Fife in the off-season with "were going to stick with this 2 QB system" or anything that doesn't imply he is at least favored to get the start next year he will be gone. We will lose the best QB on our roster 100% because of how this coaching staff screwed things up.

I think he will stay. I will do some asking.
He will only stay if this coaching staff pulls their head out of their ass. Fife should be the guy for the rest of this season and has done enough to earn the starting nod for next season until/if he loses the position.

AhYat will still have 2 years to be the starter after the fact, the fact the coaching staff seems to pretend to be blind to the obvious has me thinking something else is afoot, makes 0 sense why the best option isn't playing.

I was right behind them when they blew up. Couldn't hear all that was said but I kind of got the gist of it. Hauck went out and laid into him over the penalty. Fife kind of blew him off and then talked back. Hauck said something to the effect of "one more thing and I'm pulling your ass." Fife then said something back and Bobby said "oh you don't want to play!?" They exchanged some more words and Hauck said fuck you and Fife called him a mother fucker. Green came in and forced Fife back towards the bench away from Bobby. Probably about 10 minutes later Fife and Hauck hugged it out for quite a while. Quite a bit of emotion from both of them.
