Is Pease truly like that? I’ve never met him and I wouldn’t be surprised. We all know Bobby. Evidence on the field would suggest you’re probably right.People calling Bobby out for not playing one just cemented the two QB system going forward. Between Pease and Bobby you have two of the biggest egos in the world and are always "right" so they will not want to look like the fans dictate changes so will refuse to change. Maybe should have used Jedi mind trick and convinced them fans wanted the two QB system for years and they are finally listening, thus they would switch to one.
That being said, the article was well written and pretty darn convincing they would be better with either one fulltime vs. the shuffle format, and much better if that person was Fife. Fife tweet after the game (since been deleted) might have really cost him that chance.
What’s your basis for saying Hauck has a huge ego? I’ve known him for 25 years and I’ve never thought that. I’ve seen him admit he was wrong several times this season. Didn’t think Fife’s gif was any big deal. That wouldn’t offend coaches even if they saw it.People calling Bobby out for not playing one just cemented the two QB system going forward. Let’s add to this article what Bobby has stated this year with these 2 QB’s.Definitely worth reading. It summarizes the FACTS rather than just another opinion.
Unfortunately I have a”feeling” the staff will continue to have a “feeling” to continue the QB rotation
If the QB’s make better reads and and don’t miss open receivers, and don’t force balls and throw interceptions, and one pitches instead of cutting in, this would help the O and o-line. More offense would likely help the line. More offense and time on field might wear down d-line.Neither QB fixes the OL unfortunately.
Seems like we had great success on the perimeter in drive one and didn’t really attack it the same way the rest of the game. Maybe with KAY’s option run, but certainly not with other designs. The screens came a little too late to lighten up the box as well. 5 or 6 against 7 or 8 isn’t a good matchup in the run game.If the QB’s make better reads and and don’t miss open receivers, and don’t force balls and throw interceptions, and one pitches instead of cutting in, this would help the O and o-line. The O Line is pretty good. Both QBs had more than enough time. Id say receiving core and QBs are the bigger issue. However the run block game as been awful the last 2 games. Pass protection was great thoughNeither QB fixes the OL unfortunately.
If they can’t run block effectively, and lately they haven’t, then they’re not very good. The O Line is pretty good. Both QBs had more than enough time. Id say receiving core and QBs are the bigger issue. However the run block game as been awful the last 2 games. Pass protection was great though
Man, I hope Hauck and Pease have read this article. Very tough to argue withWell laid out. Can't argue the facts.
Don't forget Pease he's the ones that wants AY to start and play the entire game as well as a majority of the players. The team doesn't like drama queensAlmost everyone knows Logan should be starting, except Triple H, my nickname for Bobby ( Hard-Headed Hauck) !!!
Rosario's analysis is spot on and irrefutable !!!
Correct, timing is an issue, both QB are late on a lot of throws. Fife always throws high because his footwork isnt great he usually is falling back or fading back instead of stepping into throws so the ball is higher than it should be. Rarely is he stepping into his throws even though Pease works on that with him during practice quite often. If the QB’s make better reads and and don’t miss open receivers, and don’t force balls and throw interceptions, and one pitches instead of cutting in, this would help the O and o-line.
