The 3-3-5 is silly period but that’s just my opinion. But you can’t just stick someone in and say “go do what so & so does” or “just go stand where so & so does” if they’ve never played the position and expect anything good to happen.
Game time is not the time to change up your scheme, if they wanted to do that they should’ve done it in practice this week.

Not silly at all. Our nickel is like having an extra hybrid LB. It's a great scheme for a wildcat offense.

I didn't mean to imply 'swap a LB in for a CB to play that spot'. I meant bringing a LB in to play a LB position that seems to be where a CB is playing in a primarily run support role. I could have been more clear.
