Wow. That's more pessimism than I've ever seen from Eagles fans. I'm rather shocked to be frank. Until our boys prove they can win on that horrible red field, I'll be holding my breath and praying for the best.
 
EWU on how to destroy the morale of your fan base after a decade of dominance and success. Of course if I had to listen to and watch that coach with the underbite of a bulldog, march up and down the sideline and run my program into the ground, I’d be defeatist too I guess.

And I think we all understand that feeling after the green hat years that started with a bang and went out with a whimper.
 
We were there before the eye bleeding red field. Their disgusting mascot came over and mimed sexually assaulting Monty. And they had a guard walking up and down in front of us. He said we couldn't leave the enclosure to go to the bathroom. Husband said fine. We will take a leak behind the bleachers. They were terrified that Griz fans were gonna storm the field and besiege the place.

My family and I went to a game their years ago, probably like 2010 or 2012. Security wouldn’t let US bring in a sealed bottle of water. And I say US because EWU fans damn near took in whatever they wanted. Not to mention they only had Porta-potties and like 2 snack stands at the time. Their fans booed the Griz marching band since we played the national anthem, like who tf does that?! Not to mention we lost too. But EWU fans have never been nice to us over here too. Remember when we did the beach ball toss and the one EWU fan popped it? She was called “the cow” by the Missoulian the next morning after we beat em. For my family the former sports information director is my cousin. So a little family rivalry never hurts.

Yup. They are amazingly awful. Family rivalry is fun though.
 
I guess I just have PTSD from playing this team, but I'm always nervous. I feel like it's gonna be closer than we want it to be, but would GLADLY be wrong if it turns into a blowout. Eastern was ASS in 2022, but gave the cats all they could handle in Cheney that year.

Hopefully it's 40-0 at halftime. Go Griz!
