Under Bobby, some pretty good Montana high school QB’s never even sniffed the position at the U of M. I am just glad the kid hasn’t switched positions. If he hasn’t been relegated to the bench or another position, he must be showing the coaches something. Glad he is getting a shot. You don’t find many QB’s at this level with his size and athleticism.

He is exactly the same size as Kris Brown, who I'd say was given a pretty fair shake as a Montana high school QB by this staff.
I assume you're referring to Rostad or Dick. Being the Gatorade player of the year in Montana does not mean you're going to be a better QB than anyone else, especially coming from a lower-level Montana high school where being the best athlete on the field made being QB a lot easier.
I just don't get it, maybe I'm slow or don't know how to read cryptic messages with a hidden meaning. "Well known"? What is well known? It's well known that the Griz have had numerous QBs who played high school ball in Montana and when they came to U of M they didn't get much playing time or didn't even get on the field because what exactly?
It kind of sounds like you have more of a bias than the coaches do, but that's just my take.
Lucky Cliff came through? Didn't Bobby bring Cliff in because he thought he would be able to help the team. Isn't that called good coaching and bringing in talent that will help the team be successful? Bobby isn't responsible for developing the QBs, he brings in coaches to do that. If I'm not mistaken Bobby does special teams.
Yep, lucky Cliff came through. His other option was a bust. Whoever is responsible for QB development hasn’t excelled. QB has not been a position of strength. Just hasn’t. Hurt in the natty too. Fact and we are entitled to our opinions for sure

Not a weird thought. I think every coach wants to win or they wouldn’t be a coach. I cannot believe how many panties got all hiked up over my hope that Huot gets a fair shot at the position. Sensitive buggers during the off season.

There is no indication that he's not getting a fair shot already. You're inventing a scenario and getting upset about it.
I 100% agree that the QB development has been lacking on the Griz and mentioned it in earlier posts.But the posters on here seem to think all is fine.They have tunnel vision.In the end no matter who is in charge Bobby is the HC and he is the one the should have to answer why the QB developement has been lacking.
