Season ticket sales update?

Does anyone know if UM is selling as many season tickets (or more) than last years record number? I might have missed this topic, but I would sure like to know how many have been sold to date & what they predict for this upcoming championship season. Thanks and Go Griz.

Co-worker of mine never has had season tickets and he bought 6 for him and his friends.

My dad got a third one this year

Lady told both of them they were still calling people who had deposits and that there were hardly any tickets left

I'm going to guess easily over 20000 season ticket holders this year

One could check last year's posts from mid-June onward to see the approximate date when it was all said and done. Same questions every year, probably since eGriz began.

Regardless it’ll be good for the university after the Stitt years. However, the premium on resale tickets will be absurd even compared to last year. Imagine what people are going to have to fork over on the secondary market to see the likes of juggernaut opponents like NoCo or PSU. I’m assuming we see bleachers regularly, and the university push to prioritize some permanent solution. Hopefully we see some renovations of the current infrastructure at some point with the revenue from extra games this year and next.

I promised myself that I would never start a post like this, but oh well, here goes…

I heard from a very reliable source that WaGriz is getting an expansion soon to include 5000-7000 new seats in the south end zone.

When the guy told me this, I gave him extreme side-eye but he pushed back and is a true believer

I would settle for 5-7 more bathrooms. Lol

How soon is “soon”? I agree if the completion date is ~2035. Maybe sooner?

Also, there may be a glitch in the matrix. I just got a winter storm warning for Monday June 17th with up to 5” expected at G-town
We were up there Memorial Day after they had 14 inches. The campgrounds were pretty empty except for some drunk cats fans in their personal litter boxes. Gotta love Montana weather. First time I ever tried to go into Glacier and over Going-to-the-Sun road, it snowed 2 feet in July and shut the park down.

It seems a little outlandish, but they have had several years in a row now where for at least 2-3 games every year the demand has far outweighed the supply.

The Brawl and any other games like the NDSU game last year could easily attract 32k-35k.

I'm choosing to be a believer, too haha

Exactly. Demand is through the roof and climbing.
I thought it was outlandish to expand the south end zone; I thought the west side and the boxes were next, but he said there is more room on the south end

Season 3 of me being on the waiting list for Canyon Club. I believe I was told that we were #4 on the list last year.

Lots of fall travel this year, first grandchild is due, we will have to just grab tickets whenever it suits the schedule.

"I heard it from a friend who,
Heard it from a friend who,
Heard it from another" there would be 5,000 to 7,000 seats added to the South End zone...🎶
SOON.
🤣 Define 'soon.'

I sincerely hope your source is right. Football is UMs cash cow, other than well heeled donors. "Build it and they will come."
Feed the pig, build the program and facility, make WGS Montana's shining facility BY FAR, make FBS come to us. Seven or eight hame games a year should whet the appetite for MORE! Griz fans aren't born(unlike me), they are made!
MAKE THE FUTURE NOW! Make the rest of the world believe a Grizzly is, 1) a large carnivorous bear, and 2) the highly successful Football Program of The University of Montana, with rabid, loyal fans. Not necessarily in that order!👍
