NC Tickets

Does anyone know if GrizTix or GSA will have tickets available for the NC if we win?

Yes, I know we have to win first--still an important question with how outrageous tickets are right now.

I think they are all sold by NCAA on the AXS site

Yep just looked. There are a decent number available but getting expensive in the $200 + range per ticket and that’s the low end. If Griz win these costs will jump up as the entire state of MT will want to go.

Nothing but resales available on their website as of right now.

If SDSU and NDSU both lose this weekend, there will be more tickets available than you'll know what to do with.

Yep. Everything is resale. I would assume the ncaa holds back a few hundred for participating teams, but I wouldn't expect those to be available to the public.

Wait till after this weekend. As 1122 says, more will be available then.

Yeah, same question on anyone know how the sides are decided. Like does higher seed always get a given side.

3-7-77, I was asking original price...I can see resale price. Curious how much profit the scalpers are making.

What was ballpark face value of these tickets?

I want to say the cheapest tickets were right around 90 or $100. But once you add in all the taxes and fees, you’re probably closer to like 115.

I bought a couple tickets last year in the 180 range. I had no problem reselling them and made a few bucks.

I read an article from last year that stated SDSU was alloted 4,500 tickets. Also, a Bobcat "friend" offered me his tickets that he bought early. Face value of $75

Every championship I’ve been to there has had the visiting team section on the west side.

Bobcats were west side two years ago also. Highest seed seems to always get east side. Not sure if they get to pick or what but it would make sense. East side gets more sun on it during a day that is typically chilly and rainy here in Dallas

I'm going to wait till after Saturday's game against NDSU. Then, once I hear UM's allotment I will buy my tickets as I want to be in the Griz section of the Frisco stadium.

There will be no problem with travel or hotels.

I'm guessing demand will sky rocket after Griz win on Saturday. But also guessing buying now would take a major price hit on resale if Bison get lucky.

Interesting the West side has fewer tickets available.

I think it's a criminal that the NCAA sells these tickets at the beginning of the season. So your only options are to buy them on the secondary market. Why not sell them at the start of the playoffs?

I know a ton of bison fans that just buy tickets beginning of the year every year.

When the cats made it I would say it was roughly 60-40 bison fans.

If it happens to be Griz vs SDSU I would bet Griz would be close to 60-40

When the cats made it, tickets were not super easy to get your hands on. Many cats fans I know were looking hard for tix and definitely over paying. But most who wanted a ticket found one. I think the same happens if Griz make it. Griz nation is starving for a trip to fresco so demand will be high which will make tix still expensive. But I think you’ll find a ticket if you want one. It comes down to what you’re willing to pay. I know some cats fans who had to pay $450 per ticket but they were happy to go.

It doesn’t help that Bison fans buy them all up to start the year. And they each need two per person to fit their fat arses. Creates quite a supply problem.

Good info, thanks guys.

Yeah, seems like a handout to the scalpers and fee based resale sights to sell them so early. Why wouldn't NCAA want to make $500-1000 per seat for good sections? At least it isn't tickmaster.

Bison fans might show up regardless of who is playing, if they happen to have purchased the seats that includes unlimited food and pop.

On plus side, looks like there is a beer garden :-)
