High School: He played primarily running back, but also played defensive back, and returned kickoffs and punts…as a senior he rushed for 722 yards and 10 touchdowns and caught 35 passes for 375 yards and three TDs…a standout in track and field for Brophy, which won Arizona’s Division I team championship in 2011…placed seventh in the long jump and 16th in the triple jump at the state meet…named one of 33 top senior football players from Arizona and Southern California and chosen for the inaugural All-Star Game (he elected not to play in the game).
