2011: He was a redshirt at UM.
High School: Zach was a three-year starter at Senior High School at safety…he was tabbed first team all-state as a senior for the 6-5 Broncs who lost in the first round of the playoffs…his senior year he had 79 tackles, including 59 solos, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and blocked kick, along with 10 pass break-ups…high school coach was former UM football player Mark Sulser (1987-88)… chosen for annual East-West Shrine Game.
Personal: His brother Sam is a senior starting wide receiver for the Griz, while his dad Scott was a starting linebacker at UM, playing from 1979-82. His major is undecided at this time. Birth date: Dec. 24, 1992. His mom is Shelley Haughton of Billings, and his dad is Scott Gratton of Missoula.
