What do you think about Tester?

Never been a huge Tester fan, but Jackson was in absolutely no way qualified to run the VA. He has no experience managing an organization like that. Very little management experience at all.

I'd like anyone on here to give a formidable argument stating that Jackson was qualified. Trump nominated him because he was very complimentary and loyal to Trump. Loyalty is a good quality, but it does not make up for lack of experience or credibility. I could care less if the accusations were true or not, he should have never been nominated. Period.

While I agree he shouldn’t have been nominated (and that’s tough for me, a retired Naval Officer, to admit), you sure as hell SHOULD care if the accusations are true. Why couldn’t Tester just say what you said in your first two sentences? Why assasinate the character of a man who’s done nothing but served his country with honor? Why take the slimey low road when your first three sentences were really all that needed to be said?

Poor choice of words by me. You are right. I've had a lot of family receive care through the VA and I was angry that they would nominate someone that wasn't qualified. The VA needs MAJOR help and needs effective leadership. Character and capability vetting is absolutely appropriate. We aren't sure if he has served with honor or not. Those accusations were brought forth to Tester from people that have worked with Jackson and they hadn't been disproven. Jackson, nor anyone he worked with closely, did not put much effort in attempting to disprove them.

Again, not a Tester guy, but I think he was trying to protect the VA. I don't agree with him on a lot of things, but I do like how he fights for Veterans.

He votes the Chucky Schumer line, or he doesn't get a dime for his re-election campaign. Chucky doesn't want to have to find another ignorant bumpkin to buy in his lust to become Senate Majority Leader, and beyond. Amazing how that three fingered SOB ever got voted into office in the first place. No different than the right buying Conrad Burns the same seat. One ignorant bumpkin after another. Hey, Tester, here's a couple of fingers for ya! :finger:

Has the VA ever had effective leadership? I have only been "attached" to them since 2005, and there is nothing positive in that entire time to talk about. Some local Docs in Helena are great, but even the local Admin is worthless. They don't hire people, and it's 3 months to get in, so I just go to the ER if I need a Heat / Cold pack or something simple like that.

A fat Schumer with a crew cut out to get his eight fingered discount. POS. Back to Big Sandy, IF they'll take him back.
Comes back to Montana claiming to be so conservative, then goes back to D.C. and votes the progressive/socialist/communist line. November is coming, asshole. :protesst:
SW, help me out here what is the “progressive/socialist/communist line” mean in your present day context? The Cold War ended decades ago. Communism fell, China and Russia, the former communists, both have market economies with too much state influence, but the only communists/socialists running around are the Shining Path in Peru and FARC in Columbia, which recently laid down their arms against the government. Who or what is behind the these progressives/socialists/communists you speak of. Thanks

Dutch, labels are merely for reference. Quotes are from David Horowitz's booklet "Barack Obama's Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model."

"The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution. It was the Alinsky doctrine perfectly expressed."

"Guided by Alinsky principles, post-communist radicals are not idealists but Machiavellians. Their focus is on means rather than ends...they are flexible and opportunistic and will say anything (and pretend to be anything) to get what they want, which is resources and power."

"...advance your radical goals by camouflaging them; change your style to appear to be working within the system."

"...the way radicals camouflage their agendas by calling themselves at different times Communists, socialists, new leftists, liberals, social justice activists and most consistently PROGRESSIVES."

Tester is just a tool of this garbage that has hijacked the Democrat Party, but he's too damn stupid to realize it.

SW, Thanks for replying, but I still don’t track with who is behind the agenda, Russia? China? Soros? What is the objective, If anything we have become more conservative and nationalistic since 9/11. Who is manipulating Tester? Isn’t he just like every politician from both parties. And who hijacked the Democratic Party? I’m really disturbed by Trump hijackin the Republican party and alienating our post WW2 allies and playing into Putin’s plan to fracture these alliances in an attempt to destabilize the West. I’m more concerned by Putin’s playbook then Alinsky’s. I appreciate your willingness to engage in a political discuss without personal attacks. My undergrad degrees from U of M was in political science and history and I’m fascinated by world politics. Again thank you for your civility and willingness to engage and we can leave the snark for the football threads. Lol.

Rosendale is f***[*] nuts, that’s what I think.

And Tester is a progressive lemming, and he proved it in two terms of the Senate.

He does nothing for Nontana, and less for Country.

That’s what I think.

Agreed. I know a lot of people won’t agree with us AWF, but Rosendale is a sand bagger and a moron. I for one think Tester is one of the better senators in the US. And he’s way better the Daines, Daines and Gianforte IMO are two of the biggest pricks out there, and we also (as a side note) don’t need anymore Bozeman and msu loving assholes. If you need any examples of how those two are pricks HMU. I think Tester is a good guy and he’s got my vote.

I love it when an avaricious buck-hustling illiterate son of a New York billionaire comes to Montana and tells Montanans how to vote. A guy who took a call from Russians offering dirt on Hilary Clinton, when his first call should have been to the FBI. A guy whose father was supposed to clean up the swamp, but tolerates two of the most ethically-challenged swamp dogs in in recent times in Pruitt and Zinke.

Here would be my two questions to young Mr. Trump: Who is Dave Dickenson? And what's the significance of #37 to the Montana football program? If you don't know, get the fukc out of our state.

I know of a lot of people within the state that cant answer that question. Does that disqualify them from running for office?

Absolutely not. They are within the state. They are Montanans. They care. They may not know about Dickenson, but they know about Montana. They get a pass.

Trump junior does not know and could care less about Montana. He doesn't live here. He should be living in jail.

If people who dont know those questions get a pass, then so does Trump Jr. At last check he was not charged let alone convicted of any crime
