Nicholas

This sucks ass, but I’m not surprised. The way that kid carried himself towards the end of the season, especially after big wins with little to no PT, it was obviously apparent he was sulking and not happy.

How many of these kids have left over the last 3 seasons? Anderson and Nicholas are the hardest to get over, but there are many more that have left the program.

One of the unfortunate costs of success. Continued success to Karl.

I worry most about what this might do to Timmy. He and Nicholas were besties.

Just a damned shame....

It is a damn shame. We all know the potential he has.

But it is also a damn shame that he could not meet the expectations of Coach Trav. The same expectations and rules imposed on ALL members of the Grizzly basketball team. As I have heard, it is a problem of ATTITUDE!

Well that didn’t work, but the tweet says he isn’t going anywhere “Griz for life”

Word on the street is Karl put himself above the team and had a bad attitude. One thing I think we can all appreciate about Travis is that shit doesn't fly. Best of luck to Karl. I hope he finds something that works out

Was just about to post that this will have no effect at all on Timmy Falls. Was going to say that kid is all in and is all Griz. But then he took care of that himself with his tweet

Word I heard that there were more worries about Timmy if Karl had stayed.

Thanks Hooked!

I guess I didn't really consider TF leaving, but it's always tough when you lose a roommate and best friend. Glad he's still all in.

Damn. That sucks.

Best of luck to him. Will probably end up at a lesser program where he can be an instant star instead of proving himself. Needs to work on D and FT’s. Glad Coach D. saw through the potential drama to let him go and glad he got to experience this year’s success and the Dance. He’ll probably regret things in a few years. “There’s no I in team”

Can’t help but think that something happened during or right after the MSU game. TD suddenly goes to a 7-man rotation, Karl completely out the equation, sulking on the periphery, obviously not “engaged” with the process or the team...was that way all thru the playoffs and the Michigan game.

Either he already knew at that point, or something had to have happened that ultimately caused this decision.

Just listened to the recent Decuire interview. He dives into the guys leavings a little from a 10,000 foot view. Very insightful and he gives various reasons recruits don't last. You can figure out the various buckets he alludes to. Great listen he is an amazing coach.

Weird. I was told on this board that he wasn't leaving because he is best friends with Timmy Falls. Because Timmy Falls is completely happy with his role and playing time also.
