Former Griz great Qvale headed for Russia

After his Oldenburg, Germany team -- EWE Baskets -- finished second in the German Eurohoops league, former Griz post, Brian Qvale, is headed to a new team. Initial details below:

At least he's not denying he met with the Russians. Whew! So many denials!

I have already accepted a position to coach the big fellow on his nutritional needs by serving as a reverse model. In taking the job, I exacted certain assurances by requiring that he play no part in helping the Rooskies in interfering with the voting for our next Olympic BB team. Rumour has it that they are already touting a 5’ 4” center for the team on social media.
