Karl Nicholas

anyone else have trouble with the audio -- maybe the audio doesn't come on until the game actually starts - but I had audio a bit ago during an interview

For anyone who missed Karl Nicholas, he showed off his spectacular athleticism in this game and some impressive skill at his size.

The announcers raved about him all game regularly commenting on how Montana got a gift and they can't believe the SEC and BIG 12 teams let him get away. At one point he flew down the lane for a monster dunk from a LONG ways out and the announcer belts out, "Karl Nicholas takes off from Kalispell, MT and slams it home!".
Big time recruit for the griz

Is there any way to watch this game archived?

Not that I've found yet. There are some highlights on Twitter, but that's about it so far.

Last year's Showcase Houston All-Star Game was uploaded to Youtube about a week and a half after the game by "Coach Rob" on Youtube. Here is his channel.

I'd keep an eye on that channel and hopefully he'll upload the 2017 game soon.

Thanks for the update. I couldn't get my internet to work so I missed it. Have you heard anything about Timmy Falls lately?

Tim Falls was just named Second-Team All-Bay Area by the San Francisco Chronicle, and a regional MVP for his area. A year ago, our own Sayeed Pridgett was a First Team selection.

Falls is First team all Bay area by the Mercury News. Which is what he should be.

I've watched several of Timmy's games, he's a real player as well. He does everything for his team. Where he's really grown is in leadership, but also impressively is athletically. He's cat quick, especially with the ball in his hands, and he's quite the explosive jumper. The strength he'll add in college will be huge for him as he's rail thin, but to be that skilled of a ball handler, passer and shooter and develop that much athletically, we got another steal with him. It was huge to have him commit early.

I read on the Showcase Houston twitter thread that the showcase game will be on youtube sometime soon. Evidently Mr. Nicholas had a pretty good game. Here's one of his dunks, thanks to a short lob from a teammate. I watched parts of the game, streamed by someone on the sidelines, but had to quit because of the quality. Fun game, but very tough to determine much other than that this is a pretty physically gifted group of young men. Not much defense played.
