From the Missoula Current, a local online news site, here's news of a major development regarding a lawsuit by Kyle Sample against the Missoulian. Kyle's last day of work was last Sept. 23. I remember being stunned by a cryptic twitter note from Kyle that read somewhat like: "used to be a sports writer." It was sudden.
There's a link to this story in a thread on the football forum, but I thought it deserved space here, since Kyle was the Grizzly basketball beat writer while employed at the Missoulian, and a young writer I thought had truly enlivened coverage of Grizzly basketball.
It's also loaded with intrigue, particularly since former Missoulian sports editor, Bob Meseroll, was let go by the Missoulian just over a month ago.
