What exactly does late '18 verbal mean?

It means that they are part of the 2018 class that will be incoming but gave their verbal commitment to the team after the signing period. So we won't know they officially joined the team until the season comes around.

Sounds like it is legit - especially if Amie confirms it. I bet she'll have a story out in the next couple days (if not sooner):

Sneaking suspicion this kid can kick too.

Not a lot was said about him, but you’re missing Connor Fohn, I think. He won’t be able to play this year. Has to sit a season.

I recently heard Fohn was moved back to WR after spring drills where he filled in for depth purposes at another position (safety?). He definitely has to sit this season per transfer rules.

I talked to 2 coaches and they said Trevor Welnel was the most College ready OL man they had seen. Not real big at 6’3” 250, but was very tough with great agility. The eye factor on Joe McElroy at 6’5” 260 pounds is pretty impressive and he plays with a mean streak! I see him growing into a 6’7” 310 monster for the Kitties. I wish we could have landed him along with Welnel.

100% agree. Trevor is a great value for UM as a PWO.

He could grow to 7'8, 480 he will still have to live in Bozeman and then move to Gillette as a rig pig. He'll prefer Gillette.
