Bobcat great passes!

Sorry to say a great person and friend passed today. Former great Bobcat Ron Ueland from Butte . Not only a great football players ( East West Shrine Game ) but a great human being. Came from a unbelievable Butte family! God bless
 
Bummer. Way too young to go. Played against him in high school. Talked to him at Lacey Dagnen's wedding at the Uleland ranch a number of years ago. Lacey was the UM strength coach till about 2005. Married a Uleland, Ron's niece or cousin.
 
One of our towns' visionaries... going to be hard to replace.

Honorable Mention All-America LB honors in the early 70''s, and played alongside younger brothers Dan and Don Ueland at MSU. According to Bobcat Head Coach Sonny Holland (Butte), Ron changed the game of football for MSU and Ron has been inducted into the MSU Hall of Fame.
