Dyk, Hillesland, Quinn, Dow, Horn

How would you like to have that upfront right now?

They basically beat Bobby at his own game. Get the lead and lean on em for the rest of the game with a steady O, stout D, and a killer DE. Biggest difference is Mike London got the lead on a trick play (same thing in the semifinal that year, too) and parlayed it into a real FBS job

That win @ #1 JMU....Big time.

I still can’t believe Richmond beat them.
They didn’t.

They lost to FBS Duke and us that year. Richmond lost to them on a last second punt return TD.

Or are you referring to Richmond beating us? Because I can’t really believe it, either. :(

I believe he was referring to Richmond beating the Griz.

Never gets old watching Mickey Matthews pace the sidelines while his team is getting throttled...

Bergquist got hurt first series deep thigh bruise and couldn’t run game over.

That was a major factor. Bergquist's ability to run was a key part of the offense

Also I believe our right tackle had an injured foot which helped the DL guy from Richmond be in the backfield all day.

09 SDSU...

Down three scores with 4th qtr left to play. 3rd and 14...Selle to MM in the end zone was clutch. A bunch of Griz legends on that squad.

Starters all over the special teams....

Man, I am looking forward to this season to see how BH leads this year's team.

I dig it. Just watched the JMU game today. I’m ready for some Bobby Hauck football. Just not sure if we’ll see it this year.
The comeback game is really, really cool in its own way, but the JMU game was amazing. The Griz went toe-to-toe with the best team in the FCS (#1 ranked and seeded anyway) ... and beat them on their home field. Could the Griz have won if the stud quarterback for JMU had not been knocked out? Can't ever know, but the Griz were leading when he went out. Of course, turnovers were the key, and -- among all the other hopes -- I'm hoping the Griz get back to where forced turnovers are a "weapon" (like special teams).

Landers was getting worse as the game went on. Was getting beat up by the Griz D before his ankle injury took him out. Dudzik, I thought, played better when he came in... in the run game anyway. Neither had great passing.

Loved their coaches’ comment of “never heard of that” on his team not punting once and losing.
