The 1/2 of a stadium that is Bridgeforth is pretty nice but that steel crate of a building in Fargo should not count. Gameday is good and it is loud because the noise bounces off the steel....not tops

I had the same initial reaction.

But the wording is just vague enough to allow the writer some wiggle room. It is true that the Griz have led in FCS attendance for the past three years. But Appalachian State (then still in FCS) led in attendance for six of the seven years before that (2007-2013, with UM #1 in 2009). And a small surprise: UM came in third in 2011 (behind App State and JMU). So, strictly speaking, the statement is accurate.
