Beer and Wine Sales at New Mexico

Numbers came out today on beer and wine sales at U of New Mexico football and basketball events.. interesting numbers for those on that wagon.

Football: $72,631 net sales, $145,262 total sales
Men's basketball: $63,632 net sales, $127,264 total sales
Women's basketball: $7,290 net sales, $14,580 total sales
UNM made $143,553 in net sales from selling alcohol at football, men's basketball and women's basketball. The department profited from 50 percent of the total sales, which were $287,106.

The only good thing about beer sales would be it might keep asses in seats for the start of the 3rd quarter. Otherwise, why bother.
